Best family rides at Walt Disney World, Orlando-Helium

A trip to Walt Disney World can be a true family holiday so if you have younger children which are the best family rides?

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom typifies most children's dreams of Disneyland, with Cinderella's castle taking centre stage and a myriad of characters mingling with the guests the fun is only just beginning.  There are lots of attractions that appeal to children but when it comes to rides there are definitely some family favourites.

The Pirates of the Caribbean ride will appeal to all fans of Captain Jack Sparrow.  Much of the ride is in the dark and some scenes are a little scary for very young children but most seem to love it, the animatronics are truly exceptional.Another scary ride that also seems to appeal to young children us The Haunted Mansion, after a creepy introduction in the "stretch" room there is a dark journey through the ghost infested house and the lively graveyard, as a child I would have been terrifies but the clever at Disney imagineers seem to have produced a ride that most youngsters enjoy.

Youngsters who are making their first ventures onto rides will find lots of gentle attractions that should amuse them.  The easily recognisable Dumbo provides a gentle whirl ride on the beautiful Fantasyland providing a fantastic view and a suitable degree of excitement, the Magic carpets or Aladdin provide a similar experience but the gentle Astro orbitor provides a faster ride that may scare young children due to its elevated position.

Rides that relate to stories that children know are also popular so Peter Pans Flight with everyone sitting in galleons flying over London, The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Snow white's scary adventures will amuse most children.

Buzz Lightyears Space Rangers spider is an excellent interactive ride for children and parents and grandparents love it too.  You are sent to tackle Zurgs invasion armed with a laser which you use to score points by hitting targets as you travel through space.Families seem to get very competitive on this ride and will often ride again to get a better score.

Indy Speedway gives even quite young children the opportunity to drive mum or dad around a track.Their erratic steering can leave their parents with a stiff neck but it is certainly a great family ride.

Animal Kingdom

This park rides does have fewer than the others and there are several height restrictions. However the best family ride is undoubtedly

Disney Launches New Web site to Get More Actively Involved-Fans Bluhalo

Disney World seems to not only understand the latest developments in family entertainment, but also the most recent internet trends that have turned users into active participants when it comes to content creation.

The iconic theme park has decided to design a new website where visitors are encouraged to submit their own pictures, videos and written content on their experience at the park.

Some tech experts pointed out just how dramatic this change in policy is for a company that has been very cautious to tightly control how it is portrayed and to ensure that the fire recently messaging is perfectly on key.

Disney, however, has come to understand what nearly all major corporations also know: internet users must not only be given the opportunity to learn more about a specific brand online, but to also share their own impressions about the message that is being conveyed.

Social media and blogging in particular have democratised the process of content generation. It may no longer be enough for a major company to develop a website which provides a strictly controlled message, if it does not also seek input from users.

Online communication is now a two way street, where readers are asked to play an active role in content generation.

Disney has clearly learned that it can incorporate user content into its marketing. In fact, just days before launching its new website, Disney produced a television ad created almost exclusively from videos uploaded to the web by the Park's visitors and fans.
